General questions
Arbong is an online platform that connects South Asians worldwide to buy and sell South Asian fashion and décor. You can find both new and preloved items, from traditional attire to modern ethnic wear, all in one place.
At Arbong, we cover all credit card processing fees and secure your payments through Stripe. We also integrate shipping options, boost your listings on social media, and help manage claims and disputes—all for a competitive commission rate of just 9.5% + €0.50 per transaction.
Listing an item is easy:
- Sign up or log in to your seller account.
- Click “List an item” to start the process.
- Provide product name, detailed description (including size, condition, colors, etc.), and upload at least 3 high-quality photos.
- Set shipping desination, fees and shipping method.
- Publish the product to go live.
There is no fees or monthly subscription to joining Arbong as a seller. ALso, there is no listing fees, which means you can upload unlimited numbers of products.
We only charge a very competitive commission rate of just 9.5% + €0.50 per transaction when you make a sell.
Sellers can join Arbong if they have bank account in one of the following countries:

Payment
Sellers receive payments via Stripe. Ensure your account is connected to one of these payment methods for smooth transactions.
Once a buyer has purchased your item, the payment is processed and sent to the seller’s Stripe account.
Seller Rules and Guidelines
Yes, sellers should follow these guidelines:
- Product descriptions must be accurate and free from misrepresentation.
- Sellers must ship items in a timely manner.
- Sellers can only list South Asian ethnic clothing and décor (items inspired by South Asian culture).
- Sellers should select the correct category for their items to make them easy to find.
Items not aligned with the South Asian ethnic style, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or any prohibited materials are not allowed.
Yes, you can sell internaltionally.
Shipping and Delivery
Sellers set their own shipping methods, costs, and timelines. Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping the item promptly after a sale.
Sellers should calculate shipping costs based on the size and weight of the item, as well as the shipping method chosen.
Yes, it is mandatory for sellers to provide a valid tracking number for each shipment to help both parties track the item’s progress.
If there are delays, sellers should inform the buyer promptly via our platform. Keeping the buyer updated helps maintain a smooth transaction.

Yes, Arbong provides analytics and marketing insights to help sellers track their performance and grow their business. While we currently do not offer paid advertising or promotional tools, sellers can promote their products using their social media channels.
Sellers can manage their inventory through their Seller Dashboard. This includes editing listings, updating stock levels, setting up shipping and tracking sales.
Yes, sellers can easily manage their listings, track stock, and edit product details through their account dashboard.
Sellers can boost their visibility by ensuring their listings are well-detailed, including multiple high-quality images and accurate descriptions. Sellers can also promote their listings via social media or other platforms.
Yes, sellers can easily edit their listings at any time via via Seller Dashboard.
Yes, sellers are responsible for reporting income earned through Arbong according to their local tax laws.
Return and Refund
Yes, as a seller on Arbong, you have the flexibility to establish your own return and refund policies. Buyers must agree to your specific terms before purchasing, so it’s crucial to clearly outline your conditions for returns and refunds on your product listings.
If a buyer claims the item significantly differs from the product description, Arbong may intervene. In such cases, you may be required to provide evidence (like photos or listing details) to support your case. If the claim is proven against you, Arbong may issue a refund to the buyer, even if your return policy wouldn’t typically cover the situation.
If a buyer claims they did not receive their order and tracking information cannot prove delivery, Arbong will investigate. If the claim is substantiated, Buyer Protection may apply, and the buyer could receive a refund. Ensure you always use trackable and reliable shipping methods to protect yourself as a seller.
Yes, Arbong can override your return policy in specific situations, such as when there are proven issues with product descriptions, unshipped orders, or missing deliveries. These cases are handled under Arbong’s Buyer Protection program to maintain trust and fairness within the marketplace.
